About Helpora
A publisher organised around the material, not the format.
Helpora Ltd was incorporated in England and Wales in August 2025 and works from Covent Garden, London. We were set up on a single observation: reference material is usually researched once and then sold once, in whichever format the supplier happens to be set up for. A publisher sells the book and loses the data. An agency builds the portal and never owns the content. We do all three lines in one company so the research is worth more than any single output of it.
One team, three outputs
Editorial, engineering and research are directed in-house, accountable to one team rather than subcontracted to each other. An editor can ask why a field exists; an engineer can ask why a chapter needs it.
Around that core sits a bench of specialist contributors working remotely from wherever the material is: regional researchers, indexers, translators and production editors who extend the team's reach without moving the decisions out of it.
That is the whole reason a project does not have to be rebuilt each time it changes format.

Every engagement starts with a written scope and a fixed fee. You approve both before any work begins.
You own the rights
Copyright, data and source files stay with you. Our licence to publish is defined by term and territory and nothing more.

Nothing is published or licensed as verified without a named source and a date behind it.
Built to hand over
We can operate a portal long term or document it and hand it to your team. Both are priced up front, so neither is a trap.
