01Reference material, not advice
Our books, portal records and datasets describe how things stand according to named sources at a stated date. They are not legal, financial, tax, medical or other professional advice, and reading them does not create a professional relationship. Take advice on your own facts before acting.
02Accuracy and currency
Every record we describe as verified carries a source reference and a check date. Registers change, organisations move, and sources are sometimes wrong at the point of publication. We correct errors promptly when they are reported and record the correction in the changelog. We do not warrant that any record is current at the moment you read it.
03Superseded records
We keep superseded records rather than deleting them, so that a decision taken on an earlier version can be traced. A superseded record is marked as such and should not be read as current.
04Third-party material
Where we reproduce or link to material from another source we identify it. We are not responsible for the content of external sites or for material a client publishes on a portal we operate; in that case the client is the publisher.
05Author opinion
Views expressed by an author in a published title are the author's own and are not presented as findings of Helpora Ltd.
06Licensed data
A licensed dataset is supplied for the permitted use stated in the licence. It is not certified for automated decision-making about individuals, and it should not be the sole input to a decision with legal or financial consequences for a person.
07Limits of liability
Nothing in this disclaimer limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited. Subject to that, our liability is limited as set out in the Terms of Service.
