01Cookies we set on helpora.uk
- Strictly necessary. A session cookie that carries your enquiry form submission and guards against cross-site request forgery. Set without consent, as the law allows; expires when you close the browser.
- Consent record. Stores your cookie choice so we do not ask again. 12 months.
- Analytics, only if you accept. Aggregate page and referrer counts, IP truncated before storage, no cross-site tracking and no profiles. 13 months.
02Cookies in client portals we operate
A portal we build and run for a client sets a session cookie for login, a token that remembers your institution if you authenticate by IP range, and a preference cookie for saved search settings. These are necessary for the service. Each portal carries its own cookie notice naming the controller, which is usually the client rather than Helpora.
03What we do not do
No advertising or retargeting cookies, no social media pixels, no fingerprinting, and no sale of browsing data.
04Changing your mind
Use the cookie preferences link in the site footer, or clear cookies in your browser. Blocking strictly necessary cookies will stop the enquiry form and portal logins from working.
05Third parties
This site loads no third-party resources at all: the fonts are served from our own domain, so no font provider receives your IP address. Where a page embeds a document viewer or video, that provider's own cookie notice applies and we name it on the page.
